The first five steps

Step 1

Learn the roles

Every round you are a hider (paint and blend in) or a seeker (find the hiders).

Step 2

Set up your controls

Check the move, paint, and pose keys before your first match so nothing surprises you.

Step 3

Pick a map to learn

Start on one stage, learn its rooms, and note where hiders tend to go.

Step 4

Practice paint matching

As hider, match the surface next to you; as seeker, look for colors that are slightly off.

Step 5

Fix issues early

If you can not join friends, the Fix Hub walks through version and server checks.
